Went here on Australia Day, wasn't to busy, got a seat quite easily.I ordered the bircher muesli with a watermelon and mint juice and my partner ordered the BBQ Beef Eggs Hollandaise with a caramel milkshake. Our food came relatively quick seeing with was a public holiday, food was presented perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. Service was great would definitely go here for breakfast again! What User doesn't like about Cimbalinos:
Cimbalinos Cottesloe has been our go to coffee shop for years. Not any more. Service has been slipping for a while but yesterday was just ridiculous. Ordered a latte, a cappuchino and a muffin. The muffin came. Eventually the latte came. We went and inquired about the cappuchino. Finished the muffin. finished the latte. Eventually a cappuchino arrived with a glib and obviously well-used 'sorry for the wait'. Pig's ey... View all feedback.
A seismic shift from the old 'Cimba ' with new owners and staff the good news, after a period for things to settle, is that the service and food are fine ... and there is more energy about the place especially early mornings. I, and the locals, all love a good selection and supply of newspapers; quick service, people who remember your coffee order and do not forget to smile and most importantly in the present climate people who can adapt to working with, teaching and employing inexperienced wait staff welcome ... and well done.
Cosy eatery with nice food and coffee near Cottesloe train station and Primewest mall. Friendly and helpful service from staff. Will come again.
In a street with many coffee outlets each one needs to offer something special but starting with excellent coffee served as requested. There was a warm welcoming vibe and cheerful people serving in Cimbalino but the coffee served to me lacked both the flavour and heat that I expected on a cool winter morning.
I had to come back to try the Huevos Rancheros again and it was just as satisfying as before. The dish was spicy with plenty of chorizo and a delicious runny egg. It made for a perfect lunch or brunch on a chilly winter day.
After being disappointed during our last visit to Cimbalino, we decided to give it another chance. This time, we were pleased to find that the service had greatly improved. It is a lovely spot to stop by for coffee and a muffin, or enjoy a tasty breakfast or lunch.
