How can a National Trust cafe get this so very wrong. It was a disaster! No system appeared to be in place other than saying get a table, remember table number and come and order. People simply didn’t know what to do where was the board information to say what was on the menu? Customers were reliant and being told by others who had worked it out. Then 2 staff serving!! The queue was out the door. Crazy system of work... View all feedback.

read moreNestled within stunning gardens, this National Trust café offers a delightful escape, featuring a menu of homemade meals, snacks, and sweet treats. While outdoor seating in both sunny and shaded spots enhances the experience, visitors have found the ordering process disorganized, with unclear signage leading to confusion and long queues. Despite these challenges, patrons praise the gardens' charm and variety, making it a worthwhile destination for nature enthusiasts. With a selection of local crafts and a cozy atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot to unwind—just come prepared to navigate its quirks for an enjoyable day out.
