What KRkt20 doesn't like about Trouble House Cafe:
We walked from Tetbury along the disused rail route and had a very filling lunch here. The welcome was warm, but there was not much of an atmosphere inside. On busier days it might be different we will be back to see if our initial impression has changed View all feedback.
We called last minute and were kindly pressed into much to our joy and what a fabulous lunch it was! eating was amazing, we both had the faint and it was delicious. my man has the marmeladebrot and the butter pudding and I had chocolate torte for dessert, both of which were fabulous. you have to say that we have eaten a lot, but that was the best we had for a long time! well done to the trouble house team and cook! would definitely recommend!
Great lunch on Saturday. Fortunately to go and manage to get a table for two in the busy family and dog friendly pub / restaurant. fabulous faggots mittagessen. Faggots crowned with crispy swashing, sitting on a bed of heart carbure, on the top of the beautiful buttery carrots, surrounded by a sea of magnificent red wine gravy. accompanied by wonderful uley bitter. too full to try the treacle tart that I would certainly have been wonderful! many parking spaces on the back behind what can be seen from tetbury road. the garden looks very worth a visit in summer!
Had the most delicious meal yet again at the Trouble House. The food is always spot on and the service is efficient and friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I could have happily chosen anything on the menu but went for the Mediterranean Turbot form the specials menu. It was superb.
When you dream of a pub lunch the Trouble House delivers it on a plate. Excellent service and exquisite food in a friendly country pub.
A charming country Inn with excellent food at fair prices. Superb service by Jackie and her team. We had a long business meeting startwith coffee and excellent home meeting cakes at 10 am. Followed by lunch. A wide range of food on the menu. All enjoyed both starters and mains. No room for the tempting deserts! A truly enjoyable experience.
