we booked on Sunday afternoon in the Badminton-Pferdversuchen. all together were 10 of us, we sat in a long mood, so much space for us all and other diners too. the sunday roast was very good, some of the party wanted the fish dish, but unfortunately, as we were probably the last, all but one of the fish had sold out. We have just had a lovely meal here on Saturday night, i had the venison in a suet pie, the wife had the Veg pie. Both were superb, we couldn't fault the food. The staff were very nice and the pub is a lovely old building, we have been here many times and will return.
Amazing food! Went for a Sunday roast very impressed. Very generous and good quality food. The decor (farrow and ball green and painted brick) is very nice. We went here by chance but will def be coming back and bringing guests. The roast potatoes were amazing.
Love this pub! It is a great base for a good lengthy walk. We were sad to hear it had closed last year, so delighted that it has reopened, this time under new management. Wonderful service, great food (slow roast pork and winter veg pie). Enjoyed the Shangri-la beer recommended by staff. Log fires, a proper village pub, not at all snooty, but very well done and hard working staff. We immediately booked for our next visit in February!
Great spot for a phenomenal dinner! Good for all occasions, with your partner friends or family. The food was amazing, and prices were reasonable. Great love beers, great atmosphere and the service was without fault.
The Pub re opened a week ago with a fabulous team providing a warm log fire welcome and delicious food. Extremely busy for thier 2nd Sunday so a good idea to book. This is very easy on the website
