They definitely need to improve the strength of their smoothies as they tasted like expensive water.

When my friend b... read more The restaurant had a very dark atmosphere and the service was extremely slow. We ordered mango and passion fruit drinks, but they had no taste. When my friend brought this up to the server, she was told that is how they are made. She then asked for more flavor to be added, but it did not improve the drinks. At almost £4 per glass, it was a total waste of money.

It took 20 minutes for our drinks to be brought to the table, and when they finally arrived, we were informed that the restaurant was about to close. My cake was served in a takeout bag, which was not what I had expected after waiting for almost half an hour. The insinuation that we should finish quickly and leave was very disappointing.

Called on a Sunday m... read more Have been a couple of times here. The service is variable, and on the whole quite slow. The place is very dark and dull, and feels cramped. Called on a Sunday morning just before Christmas, and used the gents toilets prior to going in. These were filthy and untidy the sink had obviously not been cleaned for some time, there was damp, dirty toilet paper all over the floor and the place looked grubby. I tried to find someone in the store to inform (this cafe is in a Budgens store) The only staff were the young weekend cashiers.
