A top-notch establishment, both for its ambiance and the quality of its food; Mr. Giovanni is a man of great experience and shows great respect and attention to his customers, who feel right at home. A vast selection of wines, expert knowledge, and fair prices make this one of the best in the area, especially since it's also open for lunch. For other gems, I'll leave you with the surprise effect; one thing's for sure: you absolutely must try it at least once; you'll be amazed.

The service was so-so; we were forgotten, but the food was still very tasty.

We got a table for 2 even on Saturday , without a reservation. The food was good and service attentive. As the main dinning room was all full we were accommodate in a secondary one where the the heating was done with a little stove that unfortunately had an unpleasant smell .

A wonderful experience in an old farmhouse. Beautiful, welcoming, and quiet rooms. The food was truly top-notch.

While walking nearby, I hear chatter from what, at first glance, looks like a beautiful farmhouse nestled in the countryside. It must be a private party, my wife and I think. I open Maps and discover instead that it 's a restaurant. The time was perfect, and so was my hunger. I call even though there was little hope of finding a table (I also have two well-behaved, but not exactly small, dogs). A very kind woman answers and tells me that they only have room outside (which was exactly what we wanted). She tells me that dogs aren 't a problem, so I reserve a table for two and two dogs, saying I 'll be there shortly. By the time we 've made it up the small hill, we immediately notice how busy it is that day; despite this, we 're greeted kindly and shown to a nice, secluded table for two, with plenty of room for our dogs. The owner (I think) also comes over and compliments us, immediately afterward offering my wife a sprig of mimosa, as it 's Women 's Day. A young woman then brings us the menus and apologizes for the confusion. We ask for more information about the restaurant, and she invites us to take a look inside, making it clear that both us and our dogs are welcome. Such kindness, with two new customers and such a hubbub inside and out, is truly rare. As far as I 'm concerned, that alone would be enough to win them over. We order fried porcini mushrooms and a radicchio/sausage entree, followed by a Florentine steak and some side dishes. The first two arrive quickly; the Florentine steak takes a little longer (but that 's to be expected, the place was packed). The quality of the appetizers and first courses was decent (nothing to write home about, but all in all, what we expected). The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The Florentine steak was very tender and made up for a few minutes of delay. The beans and onion were excellent.
