Our party of 4 arrived for Saturday dinner just before opening and there were already three other parties ahead of us. Check in at the kiosk in front of the door to get your place in line or, better yet, use yelp to put your name on the waitlist before coming and get in line ahead of time. When we left after our meal an hour later there was a 45 minute wait. This place is tiny-small. And popular. They're best known for their udon but it's not my favorite thing so I ordered the fried chicken. Great crunchy exterior and skin with tasty seasoning while the meat is hot and juicy. Some of the best fried chicken you're going to find anywhere. The rest of the group raved about the cold udon, salmon, and fried squid. The high aggregate star rating for this place seems to be the honest truth!
Omfg I thought I wrote a review here like a year ago but I guess not haha. Yall are truly missing out if you haven't been here. They make fresh udon noodles TWICE a day and it goes great on everything. From hot beef udon soup to cold mentai and mountain potatoes udon soup to even chicken katsu curry udon. Everything is definitely chefs kiss. There is umami in every bite and if you space your noodles and sauce ratio, every single bite will be delicious. I've personally had the beef shabu shabu udon and the chicken katsu curry udon and both are great! The beef shabu shabu is super good. Soup is light but very flavorful. Not too salty or too sweet and nice beef flavor. Chicken katsu curry is also great! It's super filling and will leave you in a food coma for sure. Soaking the katsu is great but if you want a bit of crunch, be sure to take it out right when you get it. Shoutout to the karage. This is a must get each time because of how fresh, crispy, juicy, and flavorful each bite is. It's paired perfectly with a drizzle of lemon and their tangy sauce.

Tiny Japanese restaurant, so it is not good for large groups. they can sit on the waiter list with the yelp app. small parties of 2 have to sit faster. eating was very good and udon noodles are made house. they forgot our fried chicken food, but unlike that, service was good and eating came quite fast. I recommend this place definitiw.
