Decided to try this place because they had high reviews for shrimp and Birria tacos. Small place, but I love the artwork on the walls. The promenade often has entertainment outside, so on the weekends there is more ambiance. We got there about 20 minutes before closing. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions. What Arshad H doesn't like about Amorcito Costa Mesa:
Amorcito is located at Metro Point near South Coast Plaza. They have indoor as well as patio seating. I went with a street taco and an order of their quesabirria tacos.Quesabirria tacos with consomme $10 This comes with 2 birria tacos with melted cheese, grilled onions, red sauce and a consomme dip (the stewed beef drippings). The tacos weren't bad, a little saltier and not as tender as another birria place I frequen... View all feedback.
Now closed! Too bad, good food, some kind of Brazilian food place coming! Maybe try the Long Beach location
Their own damn fault! Dishonest hours charging for ketchup? Lol yeah it was great food but horrible customer service and just felt unwelcome every time I was there.
After finding out they have another location and that i didnt have to go all the way to Cerritos anymore i was really excited to be able to get food from this place. To my surprise this was a huge disappointment, i ordered a steak burrito and my wife ordered red enchiladas, as soon as i open the box with my burrito i noticed grease leaking out but i didnt mind because i thought iwas looking at the botton end of it, so i removed the paper and the whole thing was super greasy, the burrito was wrapped so loose that it started coming apart, i tried eating it with a fork but between the grease and the very salty flavor i decided to stop and just threw it away, my wife tried her enchiladas and they were super salty as well, she only took a few bites before she decided to throw them away as well.Definitely not coming back! At least not to this location
This place is is inside MetroPointe South Coast. It 's next to flame broiler and the press. Before I give my review, I just wanna say one thing. I came in at 11-ish a.m. on a Saturday. There was a lady at the front counter filling up hot sauce cups, and she was the one that took our order. When our order was done, I picked it up from the counter. I realize that the cilantro we had asked to put on the side was very very very low quantity, so I asked her for a little more, she gave me literally a little more. But before she did, it 's like she didn 't want to give me any more. So I thought that was kind of not right. Her yes more of a lingering ok . Also, another thing to know is that their spoons are very deep so if you are eating rice or beans with a spoon, naturally, it will be a little difficult to actually get the spoonful out. I do like the neon sign they have inside and the art on the left side as you walk in. However, it 's not really a place you want to sit inside and eat.I would suggest you sit outside tables. Also, a warning for whoever gets the red sauce on a burrito or enchilada, it will stay in your mouth. The food was good, I just wished the service and atmosphere was better. But sitting outside and eating a plate of enchiladas, felt cozy.

The shrimp taco was delicious and had a great kick. Will definitely be back.Parking: It's part of a larger outdoor shopping area, so there are 2 parking garages
