We've stayed in Corvara a few times and never heard of this place before but we were given the tourist info brochure and it gave the basic idea of the menu and price which sounded lovely ladin, game and grill specialities it is about a 10 15 minute walk up hill from the centre of Corvara, but well worth it. The food was so good, we went back on Christmas eve as well as the day before. The first time we had their set 5 course menu (29 Euros per person) and the second time off the main menus which we chose beef and a mixed grill. The set menu, mostly game food, was stunning and everything tasted amazing, all freshly cooked. The steak was cooked beautifully rare and the mixed grill was good on Christmas eve. We had lovely local wines with our meals too. We were well looked after by the waiting staff, who checked on us regularly and topped up our glasses for us.

This restaurant is a tale of persistence almost 50 years long. Few places could offer to you the consistency of the flavours of their kitchen for many years. When you thing about traditional cuisine, this restaurant is already a recollection of tastes and flavours which are renewed and confirmed after many years. It’s has always been a place to go, if you visit the beautiful Corvara. You can be part of this tradition, going there enjoying your meal. View is unpaired once you park there.

Waiter very helpful and warm and spatzle was great. Ladin food and nothing fancy but reasonably priced and accomodating.
