I ordered a key lime pie for my husband's birthday nearly two weeks in advance at Shari's Cafe and PIES. However, on the day of pick-up, I received a call just 5 minutes before my scheduled time informing me that they were out of pies. I was shocked and disappointed to hear that they had not received their shipment. When I asked for a refund, the employee rudely mentioned passing it on to their manager before suddenly hanging up. I had planned ahead for this special occasion only to be let down. Their customer service line directed me to their website for assistance, but it was down for repairs. This experience has left me questioning the stability of the company, as it all felt too surreal.

I ordered the meat lovers skillet with pancakes. The pancakes were good, but the meat lovers skillet was more suited for vegetarians. The meat consisted of small pieces of sausage, bacon, and possibly ham. I remember Sharis breakfast used to be more substantial. The waitress was attentive and did a nice job.

Do not dine at this establishment, it is a terrible place. The atmosphere is dirty, with glasses and cups visibly stained with lipstick, and the food is subpar. I recommend going to Elmers instead.

I came on a Sunday afternoon to Shari's with a friend to celebrate her birthday. It was extremely busy and it looked like there were only two servers on the floor. We had to wait about 10 minutes for us to get a seat, but we were welcomed by an extremely nice woman who took our order and asked how we were doing. We put in our orders for waffles and the petite sirloin steak, then we waited for about 20 minutes for our food. It was an uncomfortable wait, but I understand that it is a Sunday. Our food came out, and I was already a little disappointed. The petite sirloin steak in the past came with a healthy portion of roasted broccoli, a large spoonful of red potato mashed potatoes, and a small sirloin steak. I have ordered this dish for the past 2 years, and this was the first time that I was disappointed in it. It usually comes with lots of roasted broccoli, but this plate came with four large unappealing chunks of steamed broccoli. The mashed potatoes were extremely wet and blended, but at the same time, I was biting into chunks of uncooked potato. The steak was cooked well, but you could tell this was a lower quality piece and size compared to what is usually given. I love this Shari's and I have had great petite sirloin steaks in the past, but this trip was extremely disappointing to me.

I would give zero stars if the app would allow. Waited like 15min just to get are drink order taken. The 2 eggs were larger than the hash browns. They never came back to refill my coffee until i was trying to pay. F- for overall grade, food was not done to order, nonrefills and very small portions.
