A Round Pizza - Cortland

We stay at Hope Lake Lodge (at the Greek summit) and decided to stay in our first night after a day of travel. When comparing reviews from the other three restaurants that supply here A Round Pizza was a no-brainer. We ordered two middle pizzas and two Greek salads. As you can see from the pictures, they are very generous with toppings and their portions (both pizza and salad) are quite large! They didn't have any Greek dressing that I thought was strange, but I ended up with their caesar, which actually went well with my salad. There were huge pieces of feta and salad that had not been mined, which was more of anger than anything else. However, they used black olives over Kalamata, which is not technically a Greek salad. The crust was also a bit dry. However, a round pizza was a pleasant treat after a long day and we would order the next time we stay in this resort. Oh, and for anyone staying here, the minimum order for the delivery is $50. If you compare prices in resort restaurants, this minimum is nothing and it is worth it!

Do you ever have a round of pizza? I was asked this question by my daughter and I immediately answered naturally, she didn't mean the pizza shop called A Round Pizza. Now Joe serves a large slice of pizza with a thinner crust, like typical NYC slices. The right amount of sauce and great tasting toppings, including mozzarella, which is not too oily, makes this a great place to pick up a whole cake or try their daily specialties (2 slices and drink $ 6.50).

Pretty good pizza for the area. Not the best, but certainly one of the better in the area. We always get solid 'za from here and it's a cornerstone for us.

Great pizza and great wings. I think they do their own blue cheese. Had a great time to order here and the crust was just as good as the pizza. I also have a soda and it was cold and perfectly carbonized. Thanks for the great food!

Really good food. You will definitely get your moneys worth here. One large pizza alone is enough to feed a whole village. New York style pizza, at its finest.
