Rio Gere - CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

Really great little at bottom of the valley. Natural sun spot and very good value food Spotted here got lunch after a great morning on the slopes. Terrific spaghetti

We got a coffee in this restaurant and play cards, there was nobody except us and the restaurant’s chief said to us very aggressively that we could not play cards in her restaurent. In addition their coffee did not taste well and their restrooms were very dirty. I have been to many restaurants and I have never seen unpolite waitress and disgusting food like this. I do not recommend this restaurant at alllllllll !!!!

My dad and I stopped at Restaurant Rio Gere while driving through the area. We just wanted a small bite, and chose to dishes from the “first main course” section; ravioli with game and knödel with speck. Both dishes were really good, although maybe a tad small for the price. But perfect if you’re not too hungry. Paying €5 for the «pane e coperto» charge was a little stiff as well especially as the bread was unusually dry. Staff spoke well English, and the place seemed to be a popular spot for Italians.

Very cosy and authentic atmosphere! Good food for a correct price. Absolutely a recommendation. The staff is very friendly and speaks perfectly English. Enjoy!

Ok food, small portions, practical location if you been hiking. But I found a sharp piece of glass in my food and the owner just told me sorry but things like that happen and was quite unpleasant ... Therefore I can not recommend this restaurant.
