La Casita De Cortez

Amazing! Very good food, delicious with great service. Everything's fresh. The food looks better than the pictures. You bring chips and salsa as you sit. We tried house Guacamole, Steak Fajitas and fish Tacos. Everything was so good. Fish tacos were grilled and served on hot tortillas. Steak on Fajitas was very spiced. Very recommended.

If you're somewhere NEAR Cortez, CO, that's a MUST STOP! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would!! The Guacamole Fresco is the best EVER. It was good with tortilla chips or even the spoon! The Shrimp Taco Special were the best tacos my husband ever had! The Asada Fajitas were also very delicious. The staff was also very friendly and attentive!

I'd say it's the best Mexican cuisine in Cortez. Homemade Salsas, (yes, they have more than one) delicious Fajitas that were well seasoned and tender. The Michaelada was on the spot and didn't break the bank. A certain recommendation in my book, if not for the freshly roasted and ground salsa in an actual mocajet. The staff was also friendly, smiles were free.

I love it! We sat immediately and our server was the most friendly and sweetest man ever! He let us laugh so often and it was such a welcoming and comfortable mood here. We had margaritas and I would highly recommend the cortez. Delicious! We also got free chips and salsa. The chips were still warm and the house salsa was amazing! All we ordered was wonderful and we also tried the desserts. The churros with ice was my favorite and I would pass on the flan. Make sure this is one of your stops! Your belly will thank you!

Chips are good with the beans and salsa. The beef fajitas is a little overcooked. Dishes are in big sizes. Dessert tastes good, but I don’t remember its name.
