Starbird Chicken - Corte Madera

This place has always been consistent with my order. I am a creature of habit and order the same thing. I’ve only had one mixup and they corrected it promptly and even gave me a comp card for one of my next items. That was very generous of them. Most places don’t do that. I love their star sauce and the Greek yogurt sauce, neither one of these upsets my tummy as I have tummy issues from time and they’re delicious. This is one of my goto spots.

Service was fast and the food was good value for the money. It's a top-tier chicken finger and I especially liked the dry rub coating.

Wanted to try this place for some time. Stumbled upon this location while Christmas shopping. When I walked in the door, I saw the self-serve ordering kiosks. That bummed me out. I did see that they also offered counter service, so I elected for that. There were no employees in the ordering area. But as soon as I stepped to the counter, a woman walked up to take my order. She answered a couple questions with a genuine smile on her face. I was truly impressed by the thought that went into this restaurant concept! Sauces were great, gluten-free options, and a great build-out.

Got our order wrong twice, food was okay at best... staff was apologetic and improved our one-star experience to two

I placed a catering order with Starbird which was delivered via DoorDash. Upon delivery, I realized that the order was incomplete. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who was extremely apologetic and wanted to get it right.She had the rest of the order delivered along with some complimentary nuggets which our group enjoyed.I really appreciated her effort to turn a negative experience into a positive one. Will definitely order from Starbird again.
