While I was there, one of the employees, a young Mexica... read more I had a very disappointing experience during my visit to the Subway in Corrigan, TX on October 20, 2024. While I was there, one of the employees, a young Mexican woman, started preparing my sandwich and placed it in the toaster. Meanwhile, a young white female employee was standing nearby, not assisting any customers, and engaged in a personal conversation about her nails with another patron. Once my sandwich finished toasting, it sat on the counter for nearly four minutes while the first employee assisted another customer. The young white female employee briefly looked at my sandwich but then returned to the register without taking any action. After waiting, I politely asked her to finish adding the vegetables and sauces, but she rudely informed me that she had other tasks to attend to and refused to complete my order. After I checked out, I noticed the same employee laughing about the situation. Feeling disrespected as a paying customer, I approached her to express my expectations for proper service and how she should have finished my sandwich before moving on to other duties. This resulted in a heated argument in front of other customers who were waiting in line. This incident marks the fourth time I've witnessed this employee behaving unprofessionally towards me and others. The ongoing lack of service and her disrespectful attitude have made my visits to this location unpleasant. I sincerely hope that management takes appropriate action to improve customer service, as experiences like this reflect poorly on the Subway brand.

On a recent trip, I decided to finally stop in and see what it was like. Even though I was already full from a meal at Chicken Express in Livingston, my curiosity got the better of me. The restaurant was clean and quiet, which is typical for a small town on a Wednesday night. The young woman at the register was friendly and welcoming. I chose the spicy hot burger, which was made with real ground beef instead of the frozen patties you often find at fast food establishments. The peppers and spicy mayo added a fantastic burst of flavor. I highly recommend stopping by this place if you’re ever passing through the lovely town of Corrigan.

I had originally intended to grab a Subway sandwich, but then I saw that they use Nolan Ryan beef for their burgers, which piqued my interest. I decided to try the Texas burger for the first time, and it turned out to be one of the best burgers I've ever had from a fast food place. The service was quick, and although the restaurant has an older vibe, it was clean. I will definitely be back in the future!
