Today we went out for lunch and we had an amazing pizza, it was so good. We went to Naples a couple of years ago and the pizza was just as good, exactly the same. Clave
I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life and I would say this is up there with some of the best I've ever had! The dough was amazing. Proper Neopolitan style with inch thick puffy edges and a really thin base. Loads of great quality toppings. I had the number 6 which had cottage cheese, salami, ham and cheese. The cottage cheese wasn't like English traditional cottage cheese, it was more like a thick crumbly feta and it tasted amazing with the thin crispy (slightly spicy salami. My pizza was supposed to be a Calzone but they didn't mind me asking it to be a normal (flat pizza. At €12, the pizza was priced similar to a lot of other pizza restaurants in Corralejo, but it was also one of the biggest pizzas I've ever had! That as well as the amazing quality (and quantity of toppings made it exceptional value. (And they were more than happy to give a box so I could eat the rest for breakfast! Service was a bit slow, felt like they kept on forgetting us even though the place wasn't busy while we were there. But the food quality made up for any lack of service. Would highly highly recommend the pizzas here. NOTE 1 ALTHOUGH THE PLACE IS OPEN ALL DAY, THEY ONLY DO PIZZAS FROM 6PM! NOTE 2 MENU DOESN'T INCLUDE THE 7% TAX WHICH WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR BILL. NOT SEEN THIS IN ANY OTHER RESTAURANT ON THE ISLAND!
