The man who greeted me was very friendly and even held the door open as I entered. I found the atmosphere to be quite peaceful, especially for a summer Saturday night. The pizza was outstanding—I got a large pie with two toppings for under $13, and it was delicious. I can't wait to return. Everything was truly enjoyable! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Papa Johns Pizza:
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The wings were burnt and they forgot to add the buffalo sauce. There was also no pizza sauce or dipping sauce provided for the wings. On top of that, the pizza had very little cheese. When I called to raise my concerns, Raymond hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. I was very impressed! The food was hot, fresh, and the service was quick. The driver was very polite and delivered the pizza right on time. It's great to see that friendly service still exists in Corpus Christi, which can be hard to find in many places, but not at Papa John's!

On top of that, the pizza had very little cheese. When I called to raise my concerns, Raymond hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. He mentioned that the manager, Amy, was the one who cooked the food, so he felt it wasn't his responsibility. He suggested I bring the items back to have them remade, but I didn't want to wait another hour for that to happen.
Shame zero stars isn't an option! Health inspectors will be dropping by soon. I ordered a single large pizza at 5:15pm for delivery about 3 miles away. Started calling an hour after the order was placed to see what happened to the delivery. Autobot answered the phone and put me on hold. While on hold I drove to the store. All the parking spaces in front of the store were taken by pizza delivery vehicles. Inside I was the only customer, one employee on the phone, several others in back. Waited a minute or two, still on hold, then took a look at the stack of pizza boxes on the shelf waiting to be delivered. An employee walked up and told me that I couldn't stand there... Heard something hit the floor to my right and looked to see the image on the photo. One of several food-caked cooking trays on the floor had reached the end of the oven conveyor and fallen onto the pile of trays already on the floor. If I hadn't already paid for the pizza I would have left it with them. Asked to speak with the manager. Told him the pizza was ordered over an hour earlier, and I was STILL HOLDING for someone to answer the phone. He reiterated that I couldn't have my pizza until I stepped back. Should have walked out. Not sure what I'll do with the $18 cold pizza... never again Papa John! Next visit will be from the health inspector.
Great customer service, clean restaurant, the manager liz and her associate the sweet lady who works the counter. I can't remember their names sharyl or charlene (I'm terrible with names, but they were really great willing to come back in any case. this is officially my new pizza place.
