So I haven't eaten here for the longest time because I thought it was all spicy Cajun seafood I don't suspect to eat. Turns out they have other things on the menu like pork chop, and the food is amazing!! You also have the best oysters on the south side, hands down. I also have to recommend Dessert at Mudbugs. Where else in Corpus Christi can you get Chocolate Heath Bar Cheesecake?! View all feedback.

Hmm. Not sure if we just got unlucky but we decided to try Mudbugs for the first time recently and we were less than impressed. Service was ok, not great, and the food was subpar. So far everything we've tried has been phenomenal. I highly recommend the Seafood Boil, Fried Pickles, Stuffed Avacado, Wings, Mac n Cheese, Cajun Pasta, Etouffee, Salmon. Family friendly establishment, busy bar, the Old Fashions were good. Staff was attentive. Owner came by table and was welcoming. We will be back. Will be trying it's sister restraunt The Bar and Grill next.
