Nano's Taco Run - Corpus Christi

I had been coming to Nano?s for years. I love about 15min away and there are plenty of other taco places I could go to, but Nano?s has the best tacos. I bought about 10 breakfast tacos for friends and kids. The tacos were out of this world. I ordered them Togo and arrived when they said they would be ready (about 10? after I called). I had to sit around for another 15-20min before actually getting the tacos. Worth the wait but would?ve been nicer to show up when they were ready

Quick and cheap breakfast tacos. They were so good and definitely home-made ingredients! They even use the good shredded cheddar cheese. We got there around 11:30a on a Saturday and it was packed with people inside and drive thru. We left and went back around noon the same day and the restaurant was almost completely empty. Inside is very cold and not many seating areas. The staff was so nice and quick. We got three HUGE tacos total and 2 large sweet teas for $18

I've been coming here for over a decade. These tacos remind me of home. Be sure to try the jumbo tacos; they're the best!

I was disappointed with our recent experience at Nanos. This was our first visit since moving to the area, and we ordered the barbacoa tacos. The server specifically asked if we wanted cilantro and onions, to which we replied yes, thanking her for asking. However, not only were we charged extra for them, but when we got home, the tacos didn't even have the toppings!

This place is definitiw 5 star status, but I give them a 4 because they began to cool their famous salsa. hot tacos and ice cold salsa do not mix well.
