Nice coastal breeze from beach. One large paved lot, marked into decent sites, but you can't beat proximity to the beach. We live in San Diego County...we'll definitely be back again. Great for a weekend getaway. But you need to book it far ahead. Very popular spot. View all feedback.

Silver Strand State Beach is a fun place to camp and enjoy the beach. The beach is beautiful sand that is kept clean. A perfect place for families to enjoy the beach. Unfortunately the water was closed due to contamination. There was no smell, however we took no chances and stayed away from the water. There were people out surfing and fishing. View all feedback.
Magnificent views, quite well maintained, the sunsets are great. You have an entrance fee. Parking is usually available.
The rooms are narrow, but the views make it good. Camp hosts and Rangers were nice and helpful. Family loved every minute.
You'll have to pay to park, but at least you can find parking easy and every space is close to easy beach access. Great news too is that the beach is relatively smooth and calm
Great location. Close to the ocean. Very dog friendly. Electric and water hook ups. Has a dump station but a pump truck also comes through daily and will pump for $20. Great walking and biking trails.
