Clayton's Bakery Bistro - Coronado

The salted bagel with light toast and butter was fantastic! I also tried some treats from the bakery, which made it worth visiting twice before I left the area. We dined in as well, and the seats out front are definitely the best spot if you can wait for them. Overall, the staff is incredibly kind, professional, and beautiful! This place is a must-visit!

We both ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, and while the bread was perfectly done and the flavor was enjoyable, the amount of cheese was quite disappointing. It's hard to understand how a grilled cheese sandwich could have so little cheese! The added bacon was a nice touch, but honestly, who makes a grilled cheese with hardly any cheese?!

BOH really needs to get their act together. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and the wagyu burger was dry and lacked flavor. I understand that they may be short-staffed, but the owners need to step in and ensure that the service is operating smoothly. The restaurant should commit to its operating hours! I won’t be returning.

Delicious beignets delicious breakfast burrito. Delightful lush and French vibey atmosphere.

We got here at the right time without having to wait to get seated (9:30 on a Saturday morning! we had excellent service and the food was amazing.
