Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! Their mofongo breakfast platter, and the steak lunch deal are everything we never knew wanted. Their cortado! Definitely get it. Look forward to eating here again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First time ever trying Dominican cuisine. Had Mofongo with shrimp, maduros, black beans and rice. Service was fantastic. Can’t wait to return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered the Family appetizer . They brought a plate of dry meat, and it seems it WAS NOT made fresh but reheated. Though the restaurant was full, and they cooked a lot, we got what we got. No chance to go there again. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Malecon offers the best Spanish cuisine in the area. After a night of drinking on a Saturday, I always call them for a Sanchocho and Cuban sandwich with garlic mojo. Their delivery service is always quick and reliable. Upon entering the restaurant, the aroma is always delightful and the tables are consistently clean.
I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant because the food is cooked well. However, after my experience last night, I will no longer support this establishment. I discovered a piece of rat feces in the bottom of the white rice that I had ordered! I am truly disgusted because I had eaten some of this rice the night before. I called to inform the management, but they denied everything, claiming that the restaurant does not have mice or rats. They insisted that it could have been a piece of food or chicken, and not what I believed it to be. However, it is hard not to think otherwise when it looks exactly like rat feces. Here is a picture as proof. I recommend dining elsewhere as I will not be returning to this restaurant. 12/13/2023.
