Love this shop! The menu boasts a wide variety of drinks, and they are delicious! My favorite part of the experience is the owner’s collection of spiders, which he kindly taught us about when we asked. Family members and I went twice on this trip, and I’ll happily return whenever I’m in the area. View all feedback.
What J Carrow doesn't like about Outer Banks Coffee:
They are trying to sell this place and for good reason. The spider collection (in containers), grumpy staff, junky/dusty store, and gnats flying all about led to a terrible experience. View all feedback.

It was a very dry welcome, and the coffee was not good. I took 2 sips and threw it away. Also, I was alarmed to notice the wall of tarantula exhibits and boxes of crickets while waiting for my coffee.
Like others, we wanted to love this place while supporting a local business. The lattes were not good and overpriced.Edited in response to owner’s reply (1yr later): I have no problem spending more for good coffee, but the coffee has to be good. That was not the case here. Coffee was terrible and service wasn’t great either.
My boyfriend and I did a coffee date this morning. My boyfriend got a hot carmel vanilla latte and he said it was so good with the flavoring. I got a carmel frappe and it was very good. The staff was very friendly. If we come back to OBX we will be coming back to this coffee shop.
The coffee was average and the person who served us was rude. I don't recommend this place.
