Island Smoothie - COROLLA

Island Smoothie is a must-visit destination in OBX. Don't be deceived by the name - they also offer fantastic sandwiches and much more. If you're in search of a great lunch spot, be sure to stop here!

I tried two green power smoothies at this restaurant. They were decent, but not particularly tasty. I'm not sure if they were worth the $8.50 price tag for each drink.

I ordered a sandwich and had water with it. To my surprise, they charged $1.50 for a cup of water! That's right, $1.50 for just water! The turkey avocado sandwich was tasty, but I felt slightly ripped off, especially with the credit card surcharge added on. After speaking with the owner about the charges, the situation did not improve. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience and we decided to move on to another place.

The customer service was great! all worked was so friendly and welcoming. the place itself was clean and organized and I loved everything about the design of the place. the smoothies and bowls were great, the fruit was fresh and the smoothies tasted amazing! I recommend everyone in the escape area!

The workers were so sweet and accepting. I felt so safe as a minority even tho they were white. they made my açaí bowl with so much love and care and had the best energy! Also a wonderful/fun environment. Super clean too!
