In addition, the owner/cook (not sure which) was pleased to offer suggestions what could change them to meet the nutritional needs. I had a delicious black bean veggie quesadilla minus cheese, with salsa avocado on the side. my man enjoyed his veggie wrap. they were happy to replace the normal oil-based dressing with smashed avocado to supply black braid instead of chips. The hours listed on Google Maps and the light on the doors said they were open but the bartender essentially yelled at us as soon as we walked in to leave. Music was playing outside, as well, so there was no indication at all they weren 't open.If there was, my mistake entirely for missing it, but I can 't get over the bartender. If they hadn 't so rude, we might haveconsidered going back, but nope. Edit: *Definitely* won 't be giving them a chance after looking through the other reviews andreading the owner 's responses. Completely unprofessional and unless you 're blowing smoke with decent reviews, I guess they don 'tcare! Edit No. 2: In response to the owner, I 'm actually very happy you were able to close and give your staff a break! I knowbartenders and servers work really hard and deserve it, but my issue was with the attitude we got. I guess you didn 't read allof it before formulating a response, though. : So for your sake, I really hope you do got this, bud!

My husband, myself and our... read more I'm always curious to read the reviews of other folks, esp when there is such a disparity in stars! In any case, we had a great time. My husband, myself and our Lab mix popped by after a day at the local beach. We drove up from Kitty Hawk just to see a newplace in OBX. The hostess was very kind and helped us get a shady spot outside for our pooch, and we only waited a few min. Wedid NOT sit inside and so have no idea what the inside atmosphere is like. Our server was such a gentleman and so attentive. Thefrozen lime marg was perfect and my husband LOVED the skinny marg with jalapenos!!! It had a true jalapeno flavor with the heat,too. I got the crabcake dinner and it was amazing. Slaw has cilantro in it which we LOVE. We even got two cocktails to go so wecould walk to see the sunset! I also have to shout out the other server working that day a family had two tables, one ofadults and a separate one that was their kids of varying ages. The older kids were doing a good job with the younger ones but itwas still organized chaos! The server was patient and seemed to anticipate their needs. Hope they tipped well because she wentabove and beyond.
