What PeripateticPoleaxe likes about The Wave:
This is a proper old fashioned pub, with manners to match in other words, it's not silver service, they won't bow and scrape, and you have to treat the staff like fellow adults. If your ego is so fragile that you have to pay people to call you Sir or Madam, you probably won't like it much, but grown ups able to smile and have a chat will be rewarded with good Cornish beer, decent food and a cracking view from the pub... Our first visit to Coverack and enjoyed a leisurely walk along the beach albeit a little misty and overcast. Walked through the village and ended up at The Parish Hotel/Pub as the only place open for a drink. First impressions were the interior was very tired and definitely in need of a refurbishment. We didn't order food but popped in for a pint of local ale View all feedback.
