What User likes about Pasty Cellar:
in polzeath after the walk of rock and was looking for a small independent pasty place, as I always. stumbled upton the pasty cellar. I had a lamb and mint pasty while my wife had a traditional coffee. both were smaller than most other places I visited, but they were also significantly cheaper. they were very nice pasties, lots of meat in both. my only criticism was that the atmosphere was missing something. as they... I paid £4 for a large pasty and £3 for a medium pasty, but they were more like medium and small size. They were over cooked and the pastry was dark brown and crunchy not what I expected. There was plenty of meat inside, but they were as dry as old boots! We had been sold old and many times reheated pasties. We won’t be buying pasties from this place again View all feedback.

Beautiful homemade pasties that we have bought to take home to Surrey with us!! Friendly owner really reasonably priced pasties. Smell divine!!!!!
The best pasty I have ever had in Cornwall. Made on the premises, red hot and tasty. Proper fillings of choices. Do go and try.

While many praised its reasonably priced, meaty pasties—highlighting flavors like lamb and mint—others lamented overcooked offerings that fell short of expectations. The cozy atmosphere received suggestions for improvement, yet the friendly service and absence of long queues were noted positives. Unfortunately, the Pasty Cellar has closed, seemingly overshadowed by rising rental prices and local changes. As pasty aficionados reflect on its closure, many will fondly remember the delightful bites that kept them coming back for more.
