We both had ice cream but they sell sandwiches, lobster rolls and take out food. They have picnic tables outside. Its run by young folks who are very nice. Its clean and the ice cream is very good! I got a hot fudge sundae and...my other half got a chocolate dipped cone. It was very busy Sunday and Father’s Day) View all feedback.
What Christine Hauck doesn't like about Deckersdairybar&grill:
My family and I just ate at deckers. There was no line but it still took us over 45 minutes to get our food. The food was just ok. The kids wanted ice cream but after such a wait we passed on the ice cream. We definitely will not be back. View all feedback.
Tried this resturant for a quick take out supper. We had fish and chips. The fish portion was really small and had been sitting for awhile and the fries were soggy. The only good part was the coleslaw. So if you want to pay 22.00 for two coleslaw then fine. We will not be trying this resturant again.
We waited 30 mins just for ice cream. There was only two gentleman in front of us and they each ordered 2 flurries. that shouldn't take that long. When we first came up to the window it seemed like they had been waiting for a bit too. I felt kind of bad for the two kids working there, they needed one more person back there. They were running around.
The food was ok. There was too much breading around the fried seafood. The staff were very nice and accommodating.
Popped in on the way through Cornwall recently. I got the cheeseburger platter. The burger was delicious, perfectly cooked, juicy beef. The crinkle cut fries (a fav of mine,) were ok, some were cooked better than others. I think some of them were sitting around for a while. For the price, I expected it would come with a small fountain soda. to say the least. I won't be rushing back.
It's nice to have a dairy bar in Cornwall but I was shocked at the cost for 2 small ice cream cones (one was a 1/2 small size soft serve for my toddler and the other a small hard ice cream in a regular cone,) the total bill came to over $7.00 - seems very pricey. We recently went to Frosty Treat and got 3 cones (one chocolate dipped) for about the same price. I won't be back this summer only for the reason of high costs. Unfortunate!
