Feedback
The restaurant in Corning, NY, offers a charming ambiance and eclectic food and drink options. While some reviewers had mixed experiences with the food, praising the brisket sandwich while noting flaws in other dishes, the overall consensus leans towards positive. The extensive drink selection, unique gourmet offerings, and cozy atmosphere make it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. However, some caution about the communal seating and noise levels, especially during busy times. With a wide range of options for vegetarians and a fun atmosphere with positive vibes, this restaurant seems like a must-try for those looking for a casual yet upscale dining experience.
We came here from Rochester for a weekend in January. The ambiance is so cozy! Amazing beer (and bourbon) selection and delicious food. Ordered several things which were all delicious, but the brisket sandwich was probably one of the best things we ever had. Service was wonderful! We definitely plan to come back.
We stopped by for a 5:30 family dinner after a trip to the Corning Glass Museum. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. If you walk by and don?t go inside, you are missing out on an out of this world gastronomic experience. Being vegetarian, it was unexpected that there was so many options for us to munch upon! The sandwiches are some of the best around perfect ratios, crispy, amazing bread. Side of Ruffles is the frosting on the cake. If you have some kiddos, there?s a game shelf. Wide drink menu bar for the 21 and up crowd. Decor was very on par and all around made the restaurant feel casual and relaxed. Servers were friendly, the kind of people who you think you went to college with but don?t remember what they look like because it was 20 years ago. And the prices are very appropriate for people who are willing to have some gooooood food (aka everybody). Restrooms are very sanitary. Gotta say, I loved it. Would totes go again if it wasn?t 5 hours from home. P.S. Bill comes with cute vintage smarties, the perfect touch after a luscious, delectable spread.
Eclectic drinks collection (try mission bell! and usually diverse dining menu. They also have kids menu which is not listed on the menu. Trendy ambience and service was quick. It is closed on Sundays and a cautionary note, seating is either at the bar or a big continuous table where people can sit next to each other (noteworthy during post covid era! . Overall a lovely place.
