Good traditional food, wonderful Parma Ham and Salame, which in the good season can be eaten outside. You can let the kids outside to play as there are no dangers. After lunch/dinner you can have a stroll visitng the former Peat deposits, or take some longer trails starting next to the Chalet.. Note: on most years you can find snow untill the month of may!

Otherwise, the refuge is in an excellent location and very well run by friendly, young people. We were a group from the CAI ULE of Genoa Center, friendly people.
