Was User at Pan E Vin a mag?
I was really pleased to spot a sign for a vegan sandwich outside this place, on the main path through the village. I was there at about 6pm and there was only one vegan sandwich left. It was a delicious oily, herby focaccia with lots of roasted vegetables it really hit the spot! My partner got the vegetarian trio of bruschetta one of them had cheese and the other two didn't. What User dislikes about Pan E Vin:
We were super excited to see a vegan sandwich advertised here. Taking nothing away from the lovely staff member who advised us that she can make one up it was quite early as we were about to start our hike) however all their bread contains animal products, including animal fat. We were super excited to see a vegan sandwich advertised here. Taking nothing away from the lovely staff member who advised us that she can make one up it was quite early as we were about to start our hike) however all their bread contains animal products, including animal fat. I was confused and said you advertised this on the board? She said yes, the bread only contains a little bit of animal fat so it’s okay. We drank our coffee and left. To be honest, it’s really only that she probably knows what vegan is that she let us know, I’d say they sell these to many unsuspecting veggies since it’s not even vegetarian). Hopefully they get some bread that doesn’t contain any animal products :

I was really pleased to spot a sign for a vegan sandwich outside this place, on the main path through the village. I was there at about 6pm and there was only one vegan sandwich left. It was a delicious oily, herby focaccia with lots of roasted vegetables it really hit the spot! My partner got the vegetarian trio of bruschetta one of them had cheese and the other two didn't. He was asked if he would like pesto on them, so without the pesto those two would have been vegan as well. It was a lovely place to stop, with friendly, English speaking service and a clearly labelled vegan option.

We had their vegan sandwiches 7) which werent too bad they had to use bread from other pre made sandwiches too. The staff were quite friendly the first time and quite accommodating, but the second time we came the staff were extremely rude and dismissive. They charged us 3.5 for a fresh orange juice which was literally half and orange too and said they have no vegan sandwiches (which is literally on the menu). I wouldnt recommend it, its over priced and you might not be treated well.

There is a vegan sandwich that is fresh and delicious. The Focaccia bread is delicious and the roasted vegetables grilled right. Do not expect a protein filled meal, and the tempting pastries are not vegan. Price was 7.- €. Updated from previous rating on 2023-04-24

The vegan sandwich they have is simply bread and vegetables. But it was so well seasoned (and so fried bread) that it made me think about it for days. No cheese.
