Mary Brown's Fried Chicken

Mary Browns offers a free big Mary for your birthday, no hastlle , also had some of the chicken bites, the box looked very small, but I was surprised that there was actually a lot of chicken in such a tiny box.

We came into Corner Brook in late evening from the ferry arriving at Port aux Basque, need some fuel as my wife puts it before the ride out to our vacation cabin in Lark Harbour, Got the 6 piece fried chicken that was better than the Colonel. Good friend chicken as I got a famous friend chicken place in South Carolina mentioned in the "Road Food" book and much easier on the wallet.

For a chicken place i was pleasantly surprised, the chicken wasnt greasy like some of the Mary Browns restaurants I have been in.

Mary Browns had delicious food. Not the healthiest option obviously, but very tasty. It is more expensive than McDonald's, however I believe the food is way better and Mary Brown's is a Newfoundland restaurant so I would sooner support them! The big Mary combo and the chicken strips are to die for. I'm personally not a fan of taters (because I don't like potatoe) but if you are a potatoe fan the taters are a must I hear. I think people are rating Mary brown's too harshly on this, it is after all a fast food restaurant.. They deliver, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious.. And started right here in Newfoundland ! What more could you ask for?

Ordered chicken and fries. The chicken was grissled and the fries were soft and clumped together. I had never tried a Mary Brown's before. Never eating there again!
