Does the owner not know his... read more This place USED to have the best BBQ in NC. I went in for my usual 3 trips a week and was told they don’t serve BBQ anymore… ABSURD. Does the owner not know his own skills? This was GRADE A BBQ. I would put it up against any in the state. Instead, I guess they want to be a fried chicken joint. I’m so sad there have given up the craft. Hopefully that recipe won’t go to waste.

Masks are still required until you begin eating. The service is very attentive. You sit down at a table, but you place your order and pay at the counter. The decor is also unique and interesting.

The portion sizes were very small for the price I paid, and the quality of the food was not up to par. The ribs and wings were dry, the BBQ sauce lacked flavor, and the sausage was tasteless. The mac and cheese had an artificial taste to it, almost like plastic. The one redeeming dish was the spicy collard greens, which I did enjoy.
