Dragon Buffett - Cornelius
Dragon Buffett
Description
Pocket-friendly Chinese buffet delivers reliably tasty, no-frills meals — lunch for about $7.50–$9. Expect comforting, sometimes greasy dishes balanced by rice, white noodles, green beans and drier meats for a healthier take. Highlights include a hot, filling sweet-and-sour soup and crispy green beans with lemon. The room is simple and functional, clean but unpretentious; service is brisk. Note limited hours (closes ~2 PM) and occasional low tray replenishment, so aim for midday to get the best selection.

The restaurant offers a great value lunch for $7.50. Some reviews mention that the food can be a bit greasy or lukewarm, but overall it is good and clean. For a healthier option, go for the white noodles, rice, green beans, and drier meat items. The greasy dishes are tasty, especially when paired with rice. Don't miss out on the sweet and sour soup, as well as the crispy green beans and lemon slices. A tip for first-time visitors: try a small portion of everything before loading up on your favorite dishes. Enjoy your meal!
The food is delicious! You can consistently get a lovely Chinese meal at a reasonable price. I have been dining at Dragon Buffet for a few years now. There is no other Chinese food buffet around, so this is my go-to spot for satisfying my Chinese food cravings! I recently brought a friend here and they also really enjoyed it. If someone is looking for a fancy dining experience, this restaurant may not be for them. However, if they want to enjoy delicious, hot, and flavorful food, then they should definitely give this place a try. I have tried many buffets in my lifetime, but this one stands out! Unless someone is a skilled chef, I doubt they can find a variety of tasty dishes like the ones served here.
I arrived at 1pm. Food was good but many of the trays were empty and waitress informed another table that they would not be bringing any more food out. There was approximately 10 people in there. $9 is reasonable. They do close at 2. Would of gave it more stars if the table wasn’t so empty.
Reasonable food and selection. Table a bit tacky/unclean, and restroom needs refinishing. They were not anle to keep pace with lunch crowd needs.
Don't hate on this place if you are a snobby restaurant person. If you just want a quick but large bite to eat for $7, go between 11-1. This isn't cheesecake factory. Just like McDonald's isn't Sushi. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. These are hard working folks making a living.
