Located conveniently across from McDonald's, Veganko offers a delicious alternative for those craving a burger. The restaurant is run by friendly Croatian couples and specializes in meat-free kebabs and burgers made with vegan-friendly ingredients. The burgers are delightful and the kebabs are served on a homemade flatbread that is simply delicious. While the food may take a little longer to prepare and be a bit pricier than fast food chains like McDonald's, Veganko is definitely worth a visit. Who says you can't enjoy tasty vegan food on the go?

The nuggets were either overly hard and chewy or soggy and strange tasting. The garlic mayo was not to my liking. The chicken burger was decent, and I appreciated that they offered a Beyond patty option, but it wasn't the best and they forgot to add pickles and bacon despite me paying extra. The garlic cheese chips were subpar, with strange discs of cheese and a lackluster mayo. They also forgot my cookies. I'll give this place another chance and try different items on the menu in the future, as I support vegan businesses.
