Despite inconsistencies, the menu is 100% vegetarian and loved by vegans for its high protein options. Some diners appreciate the flavorful dishes, like the haloumi cheese sandwich or Palestinian falafel, while others are impressed by the attentive service and complimentary treats. Overall, Umi is a welcoming spot for those looking for a taste of home-cooked Middle Eastern cuisine with a vegetarian twist.
The food is super nice, perfect place for a vegan/vegetarian food
Umi Falafel is a cozy and inviting place to enjoy delicious and authentic falafel. The signature dish, the Lebanese falafel, is crispy, fluffy, and flavorful, and comes with a generous amount of tahini sauce, pickles, tomatoes, and parsley. It is one of the best falafel I have ever tasted, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine. Umi Falafel is a gem in Cork, and you won’t regret visiting it!
Very tasty. Fresh and quick friendly service and very reasonable priced.
The Lebanese falafel wrap is delicious and vegan. €7 for a filling wrap is a good price. I come here weekly for lunch and the staff recognise me and are friendly. Atmosphere is nice, seating inside and out.
Quick and friendly service and delicious, hot falafel. Got the fattoush salad and the Palestinian falafel sandwich and both tasted really fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!
