The Clubhouse At Fota Island Resort

The service at this restaurant was lacking. The food, however, was delicious and flavorful. It seemed like the staff were not properly trained. While the supervisors were great, the waitstaff seemed confused about their responsibilities, which was disappointing.

We opted for room service during our stay, and found that the menu for room service, the Spike Bar, and the Golf Club were nearly identical. The options were quite simple - burgers, chicken burgers, falafel burgers, steak, fish...all served with chips. It seems that if you enjoy chips, this is the place for you. However, for a five-star hotel, the cuisine felt more like a burger joint. While the chips were tasty, the lack of variety was disappointing. The prices varied significantly depending on where you chose to dine, but the food remained the same. If you're not a fan of chips with everything, your choices are limited. We would not recommend dining at this establishment.

The restaurant was okay, but not exceptional. The main issue was the limited menu options, particularly for vegetarians and vegans. My wife didn't have many choices and ended up only ordering chips. I likely won't come back here again and will instead dine at the main hotel restaurant.

Tonight four of us went to dinner at the golf club restaurant. we were really looking forward to it, because it was our first night in one. Now it was good to eat, but we felt we were gone. when I paid the restaurant manager, I even said that the staff was very tired when they worked hard all week! they haven't worked for almost a year. I was disgusting, we felt so unwilling. there is no atmosphere here. I would never go back. bland is the word that I would describe our experience. I don't have to hear that the staff is tired. they are youthful for God's sake. about yourself and learn how to work and be grateful that they have a job. we were out there, not too late. they get themselves a retiring staff! overall a very disappointing evening and would never recommend it to everyone.
