This restaurant is overrated, understaffed, and has an ignorant waitress who rudely barked at us. We found a hair in our salad and did not even receive an apology. We paid over 55 euro for a disappointing meal and alcohol-free drinks. Avoid this place at all costs. BT Cork should be embarrassed. You'd receive better service at McDonald's nearby, and probably a better coffee too.

The food for both lunch and dinner... read more I absolutely adore this restaurant located in Kanturk. It is always bustling with customers, which is a positive indication. The food for both lunch and dinner is outstanding, and the coffee is excellent as well. I have never been let down when dining here.

We asked could we sit in a particular table and were told no due to st... read more The supervisor was rude to both us and towards the waiter she appeared to be training in. We asked could we sit in a particular table and were told no due to staff shortages .That is understandable but it was said to us in a hostile and rude way and we were made to feel very unwelcome on entering the restaurant so without hesitation we left and went somewhere else where we were treated with a smile and friendliness which was totally lacking in your restaurant. We all felt sorry for the waiter she was training in because of the way she spoke to him and is probably why there is staff shortages . We shall not return even though it had always been a favourite for all for us to eat there.

She also took and delivered my order without making eye contact and spoke to me with her back turned. I was on my own , sitting at a 4 person table and she dropped my order next to me!! I had to move it in front of me. She spent most of her time on her phone. For ‘Front of house ‘ she was shocking and very obviously didn’t want to be there. She was Irish and the person in charge. The young foreign girl that took my payment was most pleasant and the food was ok too
