Visited before Christmas as they had a vegan nut roast on their menu. Honestly so refreshing to see a vegan meal prepared with as much care as other menu options. What User doesn't like about Perrotts:
Big portions, but really lacking in sophistication, flair, and imagination. If they made the portions smaller with more attention to detail it might live up to it's fine dining claims. Also, for a burger? I didn't order it but that must either be the best burger in the world or it is massively overpriced. Something tells me it is probably the latter. I was with my mother to the 93rd birthday. nothing disappointed eating, service, ambiente were all excellent and the young French waitress from lyon has a bright future in gastronomy. she will be a good fortune for any facility that is happy to have her.
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service and eating was delicious. I expected very high prices, but at the end it was a good price-performance ratio, even if the prices are slightly higher, they really deserve it. well done!
Loved every minute! Great staff great settling and good meal bit too heavy on the salt only fault) we will return.
We used to be regular visitors to this restaurant but prior to Covid we had several poor meals here and decided to not return. however our daughter asked to go there for her birthday and I must say we were very disappointed with the food , It is not of a 5 star standing. the restaurant itself was cold and felt miserable. The food was tasteless and bland . The risotto was watery and fish under cooked. Will definitely not return.
I visited Perrotts today for a friends birthday and was blown away by the exceptional service we recieved. We were served by Chris who was friendly but not intrusive and absolutely made the visit a 5 star experience. He presented my friend with chocolates for her birthday and made a fuss of our accompanying 3 year old girl. I usually eat in the bar in Hayfield Manor and love it, but Perrotts is my preference now.
