Jaye Taylor - Cork
Jaye Taylor
Description
Nestled within a bustling shopping center, this café presents a vibrant atmosphere and a welcoming outdoor seating area, perfect for the unpredictable Irish weather. While the menu boasts a good selection of food and delightful cakes, the quality has drawn mixed reviews. Many diners praise the friendly staff; however, there are concerning reports of rudeness and unprofessional behavior from certain team members. Prices are considered steep, especially for food that disappoints in taste and presentation, including cold sandwiches and lackluster crostini. Despite its lively vibe, issues with service and cleanliness may deter future visits.

Lunch at 2pm. Very busy. Great service. Great food. However, €15.90 for coffee and a panini is outrageous. Absolutely norhing on the extensive menu for less than €12. Do yourself a favour, walk past it and try somewhere where they don't gouge you. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Disgraceful service member of staff rude when I ordered, no hello, thank you, waited almost 30mins for a sandwich and when I asked would it be long as I needed to get back to the hospital it was obvious the order had been misplaced so demanded my money back, would not recommend Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Visited here for breakfast , it was beautiful, the quality of the food was excellent , the sausages were meaty not full of cereal which you get elsewhere. Best of all nothing was greasy and service was with a very pleasant smile . Will definitely be back again .
