This is a famous old spot in Cork city. It traditionally got a name for its strict no phone policy and somewhat humorously cantankerous owner. Nowadays its a bit more chill and a bit of a hidden gem to escape the madness of the streets or other bars. Talking encouraged!
This is a must go for any pub goer! Don't bring your phone (no phone usage rule in the pub) and talk with the locals and enjoy a unique experience. I sat next to the fireplace and enjoyed my time there chatting it up.

Probably one of the best whiskey selections in the city. Great service and knowledgeable bartenders. My go-to spot to get a whiskey when I’m home!
