What finnyus doesn't like about Gearoidins:
First off: food great selection of food, including fanastic cakes and desserts. I have been here many times. The service is terrible though. You are kept waiting before menus are handed out and even longer before your order is taken. It is constant. My last vist will be my last. Waitresses seemed to find it more important to have a chat/laugh behind the counter while customers waited to be served. We waited 20 minute... View all feedback. What User likes about Gearoidins:
Homemade soup and brown bread were tasty and full of flavour. Chicken sandwich was equally as good made with fresh ingredients. Returned two days later and had the toasted black pudding and bacon sandwich which was divine. Chips that came with it were ok. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent on both visits. Will return when next in Clonakilty. View all feedback.

Beautiful homemade food with superb service. Lady who served us was so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend for lunch.

This bakery and café is a hidden treasure, offering delicious light meals and absolutely scrumptious desserts with a slight old-fashioned charm.

Fabulous find everything is homemade and the scones are to die for .....I will definitely return and sample more from the delightful menu

This bustling café in Clonakilty offers a great selection of delicious food, including fanastic cakes and desserts that are all homemade. While the service can be slow, the staff truly left the establishment down with long wait times and appearing more interested in chatting behind the counter. The food, however, was tasty and full of flavor with fresh ingredients used. The roast dinner was especially recommended. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal while watching the street life. Prices are reasonable and the chowder is described as exceptional. Highly recommended for delicious, homemade food.
