Tony and Avril were lovely host... read more We stayed at the Fernroyd House when attending an academic conference at UCC and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Tony and Avril were lovely hosts, providing wonderful meals and all amenities. The location and ease of arrival from Cork Kent was quick by bus and we were in a very central location near to anything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thank you so very much!

We absolutely love Fernroyd House. My family of 8 stayed here, occupying 4 rooms. Each room was spacious and lovely, each also having its own ensuite bathroom.... read more We absolutely love Fernroyd House. My family of 8 stayed here, occupying 4 rooms. Each room was spacious and lovely, each also having its own ensuite bathroom. The made-from-scratch breakfast (including fresh baked scones! was delicious the perfect way to start the day. Tony and Avril are amazing hosts. The location is great… bars restaurants all very walkable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast was a wonderful experience with fruit and self made yogurt, freshly baked scones and delicious meals from the menu. Tony’s and Avril’s service made us perfectly happy. We will definitely return! Thank you for everything.

Tony and Avril were my favourite hosts, I wanted to go back and stay more nights with them! Tony was so passionate about Ireland and I loved that he was so engaging over breakfast. Also, the most adorable Irish accent I’ve ever heard. I could’ve listened to him talk for hours. The bed was also the most comfortable out of the whole trip, like sleeping on a cloud.
