It is my favorite bar in Cork. You have space inside but also outside, and part of it is covered, really useful in Ireland where we usually have rainy days. All... read more It is my favorite bar in Cork. You have space inside but also outside, and part of it is covered, really useful in Ireland where we usually have rainy days. All the stuff are really nice. The food is amazing but you can only pay with cash. During the weekends is more of a party mood.

The staff is always friendly and enjoyable to be around, and the bouncers are both kind and respectful. One staff member who truly stood out was Jessica; she was absolutely delightful, engaging warmly with patrons and spreading joy as she danced around the bar. Her wonderful energy created a happy atmosphere for everyone. We would definitely return, thanks to the outstanding service Jessica provided. The bar is fortunate to have such a remarkable team member!

As the organiser, I have to give a special mention to Alannah who was absolutely superb and for whom no detail was too small, even though we were only a group of 13 and there were some big company nights on as well. We were also asked if anyone had any special dietary requirements. As a party venue I would highly recommend Deep South and, whoever is organising next year 's gig, I imagine there will be no complaints if we return for the next instalment.
