Contribute FeedbackThe New Yorker restaurant at Cork International Hotel offers a unique dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. Despite some minor issues like slow service and a long wait for the main course, the overall experience was satisfying. The staff are friendly and accommodating, particularly towards families with children. The menu offers a variety of options, from appetizers to desserts, all of which are well-prepared and tasty. Although there was a negative encounter witnessed between a manager and staff, the restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. Overall, The New Yorker is a great choice for a dining experience in Cork.
Absolutely fantastic experience for my daughter's birthday and eating was just amazing, but lurking was so friendly with our children nothing was much effort for her, would definitely return
We visited this bar during the stay at the hotel. billy the barman was a great guy and talked to us. had nice drinks and we ordered also to eat and billy chased it when he saw it wasn't with us. we enjoyed ourselves later in the bar. the sea was super and again service was super. we look forward to the return!
I made reservations a month in advance based on the reviews I read. The host was friendly and helpful, and the waitress was good, though a bit slow with the bill due to a busy night. Our main course took over an hour to arrive, so I gave this restaurant four stars. The lamb kofta appetizer was delicious and came out quickly, providing a unique experience compared to what I typically find in the USA. We ordered lamb stew, ribeye, seasoned veggies, and garlic baguette, all of which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Despite the long wait, I was satisfied with our experience. The restaurant was clean and the staff was excellent. I might consider room service next time.
We came in with a tour group fairly late in the evening and the restaurant was pretty booked up. They were able to get us in and the service was amazing. Kelley went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top notch. Gabrielle and Aisling were attentive and quick to serve.
We had a family meal here on Wednesday 19th July 2023, with an elderly relative who lives in Cork. The food was out of this world there wasn't 1 thing we could complain about. As my elderly aunt is almost 94 we requested very small portions for her and the waiting staff kitchen staff accommodated to her needs with such ease it was a complete pleasure for her to dine there. We had a waitress who we simply loved she was so attentive to our needs and so pleasant towards us all especially the children and my aunt. Ana Paula made our dining experience so enjoyable we loved having her as our waitress and we look forward to our next family meal here and hope to have the pleasure of Ana Paula waiting on us again.
