Fantastic pub with live music. Guy was playing old school rock classics. Great crowd too. Mix, but plenty of late 30s-40s genX women there too. Had a great time. RECOMMEND. View all feedback.
What Chilling Around dislikes about Canty's:
The security guard told me and my friends that regulars are allowed to stay longer as the bar was closing. We were just finishing our beers, which were nearly half full, when he started pressuring us to leave. By the third time, he rudely told us to hurry up and finish our drinks. Stopped on for a few beers and to hear the band. Good atmosphere, and not overly mobbed like some bars. Great range of local beers on tap.

Quiet pint and watched some horse racing waiting for wife to finish shopping. Bar staff were grand, chatty and gave some local food recommendations. Lost my bets on the gee gees. Dont tell the Mrs!

Travelled to Cork from Newcastle in the UK for a birthday celebration for a friend. Wonderful City everyone is so friendly. Spent an excellent night at Canty’s on the Thursday. Superb live music and great bar service, really good selection of drinks on offer and prices were very reasonable.
I absolutely love Canty's. Although I haven't visited in a while, I’ll be there again in a few days. The staff always impress, and the menu is fantastic.
I have to say, Jamie and Caoimhe are absolutely fantastic! They bring such a great vibe with their expertly poured stouts and amazing Jameson and ginger. I haven’t tried the food yet, but keep up the great work, everyone! :)
Great pub with excellent Guinness and fantastic staff, especially the bartender Jamie. The atmosphere is charming and truly authentic Irish. If you want to avoid the usual tourist spots, this is the place to visit.
I originally stopped at Canty's for a coffee while passing by, but ended up staying for lunch. The friendly staff and the sight of freshly made sandwiches, beautifully presented and generously sized, convinced me to try them. The sandwiches tasted just as great as they looked. It's clear why so many local workers choose Canty's for their lunch break.

Oh WOW, I just had a wonderful experience here today. Normally you would get a pot of tea with 1 Teabag but a fine Irish brew you will get here. The staff are so lovely and the pricing is outstanding value. The seating was also very comfortable. Great venue xx
Do not know if they make food, went for evening drinks and music great night had of all 7 women of a certain age
Friendly and friendly staff and regular guests came in to escape the heat and the crowd in the city centre. Since back several times during our stay, the prices were reasonable, live sports on the screens
Bouncers were rude. Tried to meet some family friends. Was refused because they were “too busy”. But let 5 people in. Was very disappointed, would not recommend.
