Beautiful food. Really friendly polite staff. Great atmosphere. Love the Christmas decorations
Eating is delicious, but the amount is not enough. but 3 starts because they were really nice anyway.
When I’m in Cork city centre I always stop here especially for the breakfast options. Today I chose hash breakfast. Good option but the potatoes cubes felt like being fried the day before.maybe was just me.also a bit more spicing will be nice. But I’ll always be back I like the place very much and also the stuff (Translated by Google) When I'm in the city center of Cork, I always stop here, especially for breakfast options. Today I chose the hachist breakfast. Good choice, but potato cubes felt like they were fried the day before. Maybe it was just me. It would also be good a little more spices. But I'll always be back. I really like the place and stuff.
We found this little gem of a restaurant, as my friend told me, it was nice me and my sister eating there Friday afternoon was only fabulous staff beautiful place flawlessly recommended to friends and back to my next trip to cork x
The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, including a popular hot meat salad. A wine selection is available, though beer choices are limited. Giant portions are a pleasant surprise, but breakfast service has declined. The Spanish waiter provided excellent service. A favorite brunch spot, the atmosphere is welcoming with tasty dishes like eggs benedict and pancakes. Repeat customers praise the amazing food and service, despite minor issues with steak and chicken wings. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for a pleasant dining experience with accommodating staff and a welcoming ambiance.

Tasty food at reasonable prices Refreshing to see good value pricing for good food in the city centre.
Good place to enjoy a dinner or lunch with someone you love. I went with my wife to celebrate our day and we were very well served, the waiters thought about the details, always leaving the table clean.
Thoroughly recommend! Went to Cork for the marathon, and needed a good meal afterwards. Found Amicus and was able to get seated outside, although the interior did look very interesting. I ordered a starter and one of the warm salads and what I received was beyond expectation. the starter was enough to be a meal in itself, and when the salad arrived I doubted that I would be able to eat it all there was just so much on the plate. It was an absolute riot of colour and taste and I absolutely loved it! I was not able to eat it all message to self No starter next time! I was offered a box to take away what I was not able to eat, which is not something you get from restaurants often nowadays. The quality of food was first rate. The waiter was lovely bright and friendly. The atmosphere was very jolly the streets were alive with marathon runners and spectators, plus Cork is a very social environment anyway. I would totally recommend Amicus as a place to visit when going to Cork.
Looked nice and had a reasonable 4.1 rating on Google Maps, but our group if 4 was very disappointed with the lunch food. Not much flavour! The pizza is a thicker, breadier crust. We also had their pulled pork open face, chicken tikka mozzarella panini, one other dish. None were very tasty, just OK. Atlesst the Murphy's was good!

Not been here for years. A bitg dark inside and the music a little on the loud side. But the food is excellently priced especially for a restaurant in the middle of the city. Quantities were equally impressive. Great standards. Soup was very tasty and the sandwich nicely packed. Will be back!!
Amicus is back! I ate here last year and was disappointed in the poor service and food but this month I experienced delicious food and efficient service. I had the poached egg and avocado. The egg was poached to perfection. There was a very generous helping of avocado. The service was quick and efficient. Thank you for a delicious breakfast Amicus.
Visited this restaurant for breakfast. Not the same as it use to be. We were sat upstairs and basically sat with strangers to the right and left of us. Our waiter forgot to bring water ketchup and our drinks to the table. Our portions were really small and our chips were stale. Once our food was finished then our minerals arrived. When the waiter asked how our experience was we politely made note of delayed service and their reaction was smug. We were told “it’s because the kitchen is busy” and then a blank expression. Really disappointed as Amicus was really a “Go To” brunch dinner restaurant within the city. The table to left of us also expressed their dissatisfaction and the waiter was smug to them also. Just to note we weren’t listening to their conversation, this just goes to show the seating outlay….
We are two retired ladies who met at Amicus for lunch. The manager who had an unusual name was very rude. We had our meal and ordered two mint teas. We were chatting with the waiter and asking if he had any little bit of chocolate cake (a finger) to go with the tea. We had got a tiny bit of chocolate cake on other occasions. He asked the manager who came to our table and asked abruptly if we were looking for something for nothing and that they had nothing for free! We said we’d pay if he had something small but he said no… he had nothing free!! I asked him if he understood marketing as he appeared aggressive and he said of course he understood marketing but they had nothing free. So we cancelled the two teas … I think the margin on the tea would cover the little bit of cake….and when we went to pay for the rest of our meal, he told us we were very rude! I attempted to explain that we were the customer and we weren’t rude, we just thought it would be the same as it was before when we got cake and it so wasn’t. Lots of restaurants around this area for our next trip but it won’t be Amicus next time.

I had a wonderful dinner and ordered the superfood salad. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and quickly followed up on one item they weren't certain about. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and there were plenty of options to choose from.
The gluten-free menu options are truly impressive, and the staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. Additionally, the non-gluten-free menu is equally remarkable. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, making for a delightful dining experience.
The menu offers a wide variety of options, all clearly marked. They have gluten-free pasta and pizza crust available for an additional €2. I ordered the herb chicken with wine sauce, and it was excellent. They also have a few gluten-free desserts, but unfortunately, the flourless chocolate cake was already sold out.
I ordered a pizza (4 cheese) and it was nice, but the basic is not done there and it was a bit thick and crispy like a cookie. it was a nice meal anyway, just not my type.

Popped in today loved it, such a warm greeting at the door from a lovely lady, took us to our table and was so helpful to us with the menu, and we were not disappointed the steak salad is to die for. Will definitely be recommending and calling back again. Thank you for such an enjoyable meal.

Had an amazing business lunch there this week with amazing value on the Tenner menu!!! Main course, scoop of ice cream an Americano coffee for €10 unbelievably great value for €€’s. The staff were also 100% attentive.

This was my third visit to the restaurant, and I am very pleased with the service. They offer a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including pasta, bread, and pizza. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and could provide information on cross-contamination and specific dishes.
Had a lovely meal, the manager really looked after me. I don't think there was a problem with the meal, but ordered a decaf soya latte, was not decaf and spoon rested on an unwrapped biscuit. Asked the waiter to replace it. Got glutened
The restaurant is very accommodating when it comes to gluten-free options. They offer alternatives whenever possible and have a separate fryer for gluten-free dishes.

There's not much to add: the location is convenient, the decor is lovely, and it might be a bit expensive if you don't go for the lunch deal (which is quite good). The food was enjoyable, and the service...
I have social anxiety, and my experience at this restaurant was quite uncomfortable. I was seated very close to others, with two people on each side of me, which made it challenging to relax.

The best on the menu without a doubt is the warm beef salad, which for half the price of a steak you can eat the same meat (to taste) in salad and potatoes. Of course, if you like beer, there is little supply, but a great variety of wines. Another tip, the dishes, at least the salad that was a starter, were huge!
