When the cashier asked if I wanted to donate €1 to support Ireland for a Christmas promotion, I explained that I only had €2 and needed to buy bread for my mother, so I would donate the next day. The cashier then made a disapproving face behind my back while the other cashier laughed. When I turned around and smiled at them, I was shocked by their rude behavior.

The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you’re well cared for. From the moment I arrived, I was met with warm smiles and a helpful attitude, but what truly impressed me was how attentive and involved the manager was. Not only did the manager ensure everything was running smoothly, but they also took the time to personally check in with customers to make sure they were happy. It’s rare to see both the manager and assistant manager so engaged with the team and guests. Their professionalism, leadership, and genuine care for staff and customers alike are remarkable. The entire team clearly reflects the positive, customer-first mindset that the manager encourages. If you want a place where you feel valued and welcomed, Applegreen Glanmire is the spot. Highly recommended!

It is extremely well-organized and fully stocked. James is incredibly helpful, always willing to assist with anything, and his cheerful attitude makes him a fantastic addition to the team.
