This roadside, family-friendly Cracker Barrel offers classic Southern comfort, a country store and often warm hospitality. When well staffed it delivers quick seating, pleasant service and standout dishes like chicken and dumplings; browsing the shop is a pleasure. However, visits can be inconsistent: guests report bland or dry entrees, occasional burned plates, stockouts (soups, fried catfish, root beer), forgotten utensils, cold dining rooms and understaffing that makes busy nights chaotic. Call ahead for big events and temper expectations during peak times.

I had a wonderful time there with my family. The customer service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I also enjoy browsing the store; I always discover delightful items.
The staff was very friendly, and the food was decent, though not exceptional. It didn't quite have the homemade touch of Grandma's cooking. Everything tasted a bit bland, as if it came straight from a can. Overall, it was fine. I wouldn't mind eating there again, but I'd temper my expectations a bit.
Kara was fantastic, and the food was delicious! The establishment is very clean and well-maintained.
We frequently eat at this restaurant when we're in the area. However, during our last visit, we found some small hairs in the bowl of greens, and the fried chicken was a bit dry.
Food was ice cold. Service was slow. I'm not a complainer.
