I was tempted by Tomcat's nice review and bookmarked this restaurant prior to my trip to Hong Kong. Rushed to explore after I came back on last Sunday for lunch. Honestly, I drove pass this restaurant quite a few time and thought it was just a local Chinese take-away. Not until I read Tomcat's review which drew my awareness. What Jo Ward doesn't like about Noodle Asia Restaurant:
best lanzhou pulled noodles! just a few minutes from home my bauch tell me we need some of these fresh soup noodles today. on the way home from the Sunday market I run in, greet the chef, put my order, get me a bottle of ice water and sit down to prepare my flavor. So, it was raining, I had just finished a terrible shift work and it felt like my stomach had collapsed into an aching black hole.

Honestly, I drove pass this restaurant quite a few time and thought it was just a local Chinese take-away. Not until I read Tomcat's review which drew my awareness. Walked in and was the first table of the day at 11:45am and found the interior deco was set quite matching the theme. Ordered the traditional Lanzhou noodle without green (that is my other half's preference) and another noodle with chitterlings. I am much appreciated the chef's serious attitude to offer choices of noodles' thickness. There are six levels of thickness for selection and we chose the second thinnest one. When the noodles came to the table, we were so excited on the authenticity of the noodles and the soup base. Beef was a lot better than my other half had at Wu Han years ago, where they served the beef so dried like the jerky. I love my bowl of chitterlings, the broth was tasteful and the chitterlings were tendered. This bowl really reminds me having the same Chitterlings Ramen at Santouka Ramen before I took the bus to Asahigawa Zoo while we were travelling in Sapporo.... Definitely we will return....
